26. 01. 2016. Played around with the doepfer a-188-2 tapped bbd module. Recorded with a rme babyface and cubase.

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

About me: i make all my content from the ground up,i sample from analog drum machines, i never use softsynths in my sample material. I just prefer to offer the best samples possible. I simply generated a risset drum in audacity with all the default settings, except the frequency is 50. A really powerful sound, but only if you have a good sub woofer.

An absolute thumper with a deep bottom end which sounds like knife party's vibrant style (similar to the kick drum in their track lrad).

Made this by putting my keyboard through my guitar pedal, distorting the kick drum, then putting an echo on it. I made it to put in my horror film in media studies.
